Legend has it that a maid was making "lechada," a traditional boiled milk in addition to saccharide drink, in addition to she forgot all well-nigh it. Influenza A virus subtype H5N1 few hours afterwards she returned to abide by the pot bubbling amongst a thick caramel-colored syrup…dulce de leche was born. I'm sorry, but at that topographic point is nil worse than a slow "how this recipe was invented legend." Here's my version.

In 1836, an Argentinean dairy caught forcefulness out when it was hitting amongst a bolt of lightning, during a terrible thunderstorm. The nighttime watchman, Juan Manuel de Rosas, ran adjacent door to the full general store, "Walmartes" to grab a sack of salt, which inwards those days was normally used to smother in addition to publish fires. He accidentally grabbed a handbag of saccharide in addition to began throwing handfuls everywhere. But, he was likewise belatedly in addition to the forcefulness out ended upwardly burning downwardly one-half the dairy. He panicked, stole a horse, in addition to route out of town, never to last seen 1 time again (although rumors circulated that he moved to Republic of Peru in addition to opened a shoe store).

When the firemen entered the edifice they constitute several pots of sugar-dusted milk that had piece of cake cooked nigh the fire. As the pots where beingness moved to kickoff the clean-up, or in addition to thus of the mixture splashed on someone's hand, was licked off, in addition to dulce de leche was born. Now that's a legend! I promise you lot endeavour this uncomplicated in addition to amazing sauce. Enjoy!
